Boston University (in English: Boston University) is a private university in Boston. The number of students 30.000 is the fourth largest private university in the United States of America

Campus
Campus is located along ( Commonwealth Avenue Street Commonwealth Avenue ). Most university buildings are distributed on both sides of the street. Campus extends to a distance of 2 kilometers.

University of Fame

He studied at the University of celebrities and some top owners in some areas, such as:

     Martin Luther King, Nobel laureate for peace and demands an end to racial discrimination in America. He received his doctorate in systematic theology in 1955.
     Oscar Arias Sanchez, former Costa Rican President and Nobel laureate for peace. Enrolled at the university to study medicine but did not complete his studies.
     Faisal al-Fayez, Prime Minister of Jordan before. Earned a master's degree in international relations in 1981.
     Julianne Moore, actress holds a Emmy awards and Golden Globe. I got a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Arts.
     Geena Davis, actress holds awards and an Oscar Golden Globe, received a bachelor's degree in drama in 1979.

Admission Statistics

Statistics acceptance of the graduating batch is expected in the year 2015 indicate that 41,760 students have applied to the University, were accepted 48% of them. [2]

Statistics acceptance of the batch which graduated in 2010 indicate that 68% of the students with the assets of a white, 15% Asian, 7% foreign students, 7% Hispanic, 2% of people with brown skin. Also, Boston University is the second among U.S. universities for the number of students with Jewish ancestry (after the University of New York), whose number is estimated between 3000 [3] [4] and 4000 [5] a student at the university, or a rate of 15% [4] university students.

Foreign students account for 7% of the total students in the university. 18% of them were Chinese, 12% Korean, 11% of India, 6% from Taiwan, 6% from Canada, Japan 4%, 3% from Turkey, Thailand, from 2%, 2% from Saudi Arabia, and 2% from Mexico. 26% of these students are seeking degrees of post-secondary education (Kalpkalorios), while 47% are attending graduate (Kalmagester and PhD), and the remaining 27% are seeking another kind of university education.
